Want to go to Philmont?

2019 Council Contingent

July 07-19, 2019

New registration for 2019 Council Contingent is now closed

Philmont Scout Ranch is one of four National High Adventure Bases operated by the Boy Scout of America National Council.  Situated in the Sangre de Cristo Range of the magnificent Rocky Mountains in northeastern New Mexico, Philmont has challenged hundred of thousands of youth and adults during its 75+ years of service.  Our Council continues a strong relationship with Philmont, and has again been allocated 6 Crews for our youth and adults to be challenged by an expedition.

Quivira Council Philmont Contingent is intended to give an opportunity for the  Philmont experience  to individuals or small Units that do not meet Philmont’s numbers requirement to qualify for the lottery.

Applying for your Units own contingent
Council Contingent is not intended as an alternative for Units to not apply for the Philmont lottery.
If your Unit would like to apply for your own Trek, you may do so here: www.PhilmontScoutRanch.org
