For more than 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Today, these values are just as relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential as they were in 1910. Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives.
The Trail to the Future Program will open the door to new experiences, outdoor adventure, friendship, and newly found self-confidence!
So, what’s the cost?
This program is designed to make Scouting accessible to all! Once selected as a Trail to the Future Scout, his/her joining fees and Scout book will be provided at no cost!
What You Need to Know...
Quivira Council and the Trail to the Future Volunteers will ensure that the young person is placed with a high performing Trail to the Future Unit. These units are committed to ensuring the success of the Scout to help them down their Scouting trail.
When your youth is selected as a Trail to the Future Scout, his/her Fall joining fees and a Scoutbook will be provided at no cost.
